Bought this light as I needed IP44 rating for bathroom use and I also wanted a decent bright light without the overkill of 3x50w. Added to my reasoning is that 60W bathroom lights, which seem to be all you can get now in traditional ceiling flush fittings (which you can’t by the way place 100W equivalent energy savers in), are definitely too dull. I was therefore a little disappointed to find this light whilst nominally 3x35W (105W) of directional light seems to give out considerably less light that the 100W bulb it replaced.
The unit itself is a good polished finish and the bars on each light to adjust the angle is a plus. First job is mounting the a small metal bar on the ceiling to hold the light. On the unit itself, inside the wiring block is more fun – there’s a sealed block with 4 screws to undo, you need to get the wires through a thick rubber seal and then fix into the block. Two grub screws then hold the light to the ceiling mounting bar.
The only other significant point is that the fitting is very compact. For me this is good and it doesn’t overpower the room like some can, but it may appear too small for some – the silver disk on the ceiling is 16cm in diameter.

Really really pleased with this product. It looks fab and the bulbs are nice and bright. Very stylish design too.
